Position Overview:

The Business Analyst Gathers, analyzes, documents, and communicates requirements; supports and/or tests software applications and components; He/She will be responsible of translating clients’ requirements into technical requirements that will be used by the development team, and tests the finished products in order to confirm that the specifications are covered;

Responsibility:

  • Reports to the Senior Business Analyst and/or Project/Product Manager.
  • Gather, communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to all stakeholders
  • Discover, organize, and clarify business needs and review/produce specifications for change
  • Work with the PMO and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications
  • Undertaking all testing activities including test planning & execution
  • Documenting all test scripts and test evidence
  • Create and update User manuals, documentations, policies and procedures
  • Defect management and reporting
  • Taking ownership of testing of allocated projects, and willingly undertaking analysis to better understand the module under test
  • Conduct trainings and demonstrations when needed
  • Writing business requirements documents and/or managing the Agile backlogs.
  • Provide technical guidance to other team members.
  • Work in a team collaborative environment.
  • Share knowledge and expertise and coach newcomers to leverage the technical skills within the team.
  • Ability to learn and work with other technologies based on the IT department needs.

  • Knowledge in insurance business is a big plus
  • Strong attention to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to write queries or codes is a plus
  • Fluency in Arabic & English & French
  • Ability to work under no supervision
  • Familiar with Jira or Agile Driven Development techniques is a big plus
